Village Income Tax

There is a one percent Village Income Tax. This is levied on all wages. You may receive credit up to one percent if you pay municipal tax elsewhere.

School District Income Tax

Wage earners residing in the Edgerton Local Schools District pay a one percent tax on wages. These forms are handled by employers and are deducted similar to Ohio and Federal Income taxes.

Real Estate Taxes

Assessed value is thirty-five percent of appraised value. The effective tax rate is 35.95 per $1000 of valuation. Example: With rollbacks and credits the real estate tax on a $100,000 home would be approximately $550 per 1/2 year.

Water tap for new home

Natural gas is available from Ohio Gas Company,
