One day at school Gail found a note in her locker.  It had very disturbing things on it.  She showed it to Alison and Alison told her to not worry about it.  Then she got another one so she decided to talk to the school counselor.  She didn't believe her; she thought that Gail was just testing her because this was her first year.

A few days later Gail went to Mrs. Mongomery's to baby sit her kids like she did every Saturday night. She didn't really have to watch the kids because they were always asleep before she got there.  She was sitting on the couch when the phone rang.  It was a high, screechy voice on the other end.  It scared Gail so she decided to call Steve.  She got a hold of his mom who said he was with his dad.  So, Gail asked her to send him to Mrs. Montgomery's when he got back.

A few hours later the doorbell rang.  She though it  was Steve, so she ran to the door and opened it.
