Holgate Elementary School is dedicated to providing students with a strong educational base to build upon in middle and high school. Our Elementary consists of grades K-5. The annual awards program is held each Spring featuring the Fifth grade students. Right-To-Read and Read Across America activities are a Spring feature. Our annual Science Fair is something fifth graders look forward to each year. Several activities are offered students to enrich their education. Arts Unlimited, Artists in Residence, Fifth Grade Band, Fifth Edition Chorus, Flag Football and Basketball are a few of the programs offered. Annual Grandparent's Visitation, Open House and Christmas Program featuring the Fourth grade students, and the PTO Spring Carnival are always exciting events for the community, staff and students. The Parent-Teacher Organization is very active in Holgate Local Schools. As always, thanks to all who support our annual fund raiser! Latchkey is an after school child-care program under the direction of Sue Like. SchoolNet Plus funding is helping Holgate Local Schools to bring technology into the classroom. Technology in the classroom will provide individual hands-on learning experiences, challenging and engaging learners to solve their own problem's, think creatively and be able to communicate those results in a manner necessary for our constantly changing computer literate world.
